It is part of the company Groupe Galeries Lafayette. Galeries Lafayette
operates mainly in Paris but has locations in Berlin, Germany, Casablanca, Morocco, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Jakarta, Indonesia. In 2009,
Galeries Lafayette recorded earnings of $1 billion euros.
